Heifer International
Participants spent the day at the international headquarters of Heifer International in Little Rock, Arkansas. Heifer is a non-profit organization that helps people around the world. We had a guided tour of the green facilities and of Heifer village by a Francophone employee. Learn more about Heifer International.
Ozark Medieval Fortress
Deep in the Ozark Mountains in Lead Hill, AR, there is a medieval fortress being built. We were led on a guided tour in French by one of the members of the board. We even got to help carve a stone from the Arkansas limestone and carved our own stones to take home. Learn more about the Ozark Medieval Fortress.
